Two vacancies for RF Masters Engineering students at Tellumat

There are two vacancies for RF Masters Engineering students available in the Defence division at Tellumat (Pty) Ltd.
Tellumat (Pty) Limited, a leader in business delivering competitive technology solutions to the Communications, Defence and Contract Manufacturing markets worldwide, requires 2 RF students who are currently completing or have completed their Masters in Engineering (RF) in the Defence division.
Tellumat has a contract opportunity for two students to work for a year with the understanding that the students will spend two days a week on their Masters studies. The students should either begin with their masters studies next year or already be busy with their master’s studies. PhD students are also welcome to apply.
Specific areas of interest
The students should specialise in RF design with interest in one or more of the following areas:
High power radar transmitter design,
Pulse & phase modulation of radar transmitters,
Meta material application for high power RF, PIN switch design and
Distributed balun design.
Proficiency in Microwave Office would be a advantageous.
The students will have the opportunity to participate in the design of RF modules for use in Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) radar systems as well as RF data link products.
