6 Mar 2015 - 14:30

Today was the last day of our second course of 2015, held from 2 to 6 March. Prof Piet van Genderen, who visited us from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, gave students in the Radar Masters programme a comprehensive Introduction to Radar Systems, looking at the principles and techniques fundamental to the operation of a radar system. Over thirty students attended this course.

For more information, you can download the course handout here.

The next course on our calendar, from 23 to 27 March, Mathematics for Radar and Electronic Protection, will see aspiring radar and electronic defence engineers acquiring a useful mathematical toolkit, under the guidance of Dr Pieter Uys from the University of Cape Town.
