Please note that the deadline for submitting an abstract to the 4th CoSeRa is approaching on 30 April 2016.
From 19 to 21 September 2016, the Fourth International Workshop of the Compressed Sensing Theory and its Applications to Radar, Sonar and Remote Sensing (CoSeRa 2016), will take place in the city of Aachen, Germany. It gathers world-class scientists, engineers and educators engaged in the fields of Compressive Sensing (CS) and radar/sonar/EO/IR signal processing and remote sensing.
It showcases recent research in CS and sparse signal processing in order to present a range of perspectives and innovative results with potential to enable future practical systems based on CS. The focus of this International Workshop is to bring together experts in the field of Compressed Sensing to explore the state-of-the-art in development of such techniques in the different nations and for the different applications and to turn out its advantages or possible drawbacks compared to classical solutions.
On Monday afternoon, the workshop will start with a tutorial given by Massimo Fornasier, TU Munich, Germany, titled “A guided tour of algorithms for sparse recovery”.
On each workshop day there will be an invited keynote speech:
Joachim Ender, Fraunhofer FHR, Germany: “Compressive Sensing, Sparse Representation and Regularization – Approaches to radar applications”
Mike Davies, University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom: “Sparse signal separation and imaging in Synthetic Aperture Radar”
Albert Fannjiang, University of California, Davis, USA: “Compressive Imaging and Resolution”
The workshop fee (250,- Euro if you register before 31 July 2016 otherwise 300,- Euro) includes admission to all sessions as well as to the daily coffee-breaks, the lunch-snacks during the workshop days, and the proceedings (only CD-ROM).
